Part of our Physical Pathway. A lower intensity exercise session performed mostly seated. This is a great option for residents not ready for the frequent standing exercise during a Healthy and Fit session. Led by Yoga/Tai Chi instructor Bil Banick.
Part of our Physical Pathway. A shortened, modified version of our Healthy & Fit. These sessions are typically performed half seated, half standing, and can be modified to most ability levels. Practical strategies for minimizing fall risk are discussed.
Part of our Psychological Pathway. Music therapy uses several different interventions to promote wellness and manage stress. It encourages communication and expression through musical interaction and it is just a lot of fun! Led by certified music therapist Tess Sandler.
Part of our Intellectual Pathway. Chorus leader Kevin Mack leads weekly rehearsals culminating in themed performances throughout the year. Runs seasonally.
